Thanks everyone. I'm posting from my phone. I ran twice today (hotlap). Was actually shakedown runs but called it a day when isaw my slips lol. First run was 10.61 @ 130 followed by 10.57 @ 128.9 The car definitely has more in it. Axles and a good tunewould do wonders. Unfortunately my runs were done early in the day and noone took picsor vids. Sorry guys. I wasn't even gonna post it haha

Congrats man. I was bolting up my drag radials in the pits, when I heard the unmistakable sound of the Kleemann CLK launching. I looked up, ran my eyes down the bleachers to the scoreboard and saw the 10.57. For some reason, I thought you needed a .55 to take it home, so I calmly went back to work thinking that you missed it by a fraction, again.

Nobody deserves it more than you. From broken axles, to rumors of NOS, to wrong sized CCWs, to bad tunes, to broken power steering pumps, to snow, to missing it by .01 once.....

You've had to battle and battle and battle.

Congrats and enjoy. It's gonna hold for a while, I think.

That was you describing the drive back from picking up what would become your record breaking beast. Back then she was fast. Kleemann S/C'd, yes, but still a virgin to your maniacal modding and driving skills. Four years later she's a fully whored-out time-warping Kleemafreak over which you can apparently exercise direct mind control 1/4 mile at a time.

Your record itself is bad *** Ahmad - but one of the coolest things about it is how you've managed not to fall in love with yourself over it all. You've got alot of respect on this forum and IMHO you deserve it.
