Heres the thing, maybe its an inside thing and you guys only mean the fastest Modded car, or the fastest car in a certain price range. But if you guys are saying the worlds fastest mercedes in the 1/4 mile, then the car im thinking of is a Clk Gtr which runs sub 10's. I think it would be silly to assume that there are no mercedes outside of this forum that could be faster. Again I don't want to belittle this run i just think its funny to claim worlds fastest when there are others

I think we are all going on what's been documented and recorded. So far I haven't seen or heard of a single MB going quicker than 10.57 in the 1/4 mile.... If you have proof of what you're saying please post, otherwise the record stands. I also don't think a 10.57 should be considered silly as a record time.

Clk gt-r is a $1.8 million dollar car which I doubt we'll ever see making a 1/4 mile pass..until then is just another super car..

I've never seen a timeslip for a CLK GTR but if there is one and its quicker than 10.57 then obviously my car is slower. Matter of fact, it SHOULD be faster than my car but until it's documented it's not official. What about the MB F1 cars? I'm not here to get into a pissing match. I wasn't even going to post my times. I accomplished the goals I set out for myself and I am content with that.
I had 4 goals for this year:
1) Run a 10.5x pass
2) Cut a 1.4x 60'
3) Trap higher than 130mph
4) Beat the MB 1/4 mile "record"
So even if I didn't beat the MB "record" I am happy that I was able to accomplish 3 out of 4 of my goals (for now I think it's 4/4).
There are way too many people to thank for helping me achieve my goals and the list would be a mile long. You all know who you are and I appreciate everything you've done for me. Thank you to everyone who was supportive and I have met alot of great people through this hobby. I would like to respond to every one of the posts like I usually do but it will be easier to just say thank you everyone! Keep pushing the envelope

Haha...it's not about living in a bubble, it's about what's documented. Like we said, if you have something to prove otherwise post it. Just think about what you're saying, "there must be a faster car out there but there's no proof of it"...lol. If this is the case we could all easily say we have the quickest car out there, who needs proof......

Bro, don't let these haters rain on your parade, no need to even explain yourself to them, I gave up explaining myself a long time ago, no matter what you say people are gonna bicker. FWIW it's a record in my eyes, there are people from all over the world on this site and with the world wide web at our finger tips if there were a quicker/faster time out there we would know about it.
