OK they're in! First off a HUGE thanks to the guys at Dyno Comp, particularly Ron and Rich. While they only charged me 4 hours of labor they easily put over 6 hours in the install as well as dyno. Rich your team is top notch and going foward you have all my MB labor and install as long as I own a MB. Your expertise is ridiculous when it comes to these cars!
I have't had a chance to film a good video yet but will do that tomorrow for you all to take a look at. Jerry rekindly re-flashed my ECU over the weekend to Stage 2 (Thanks Jerry!), but as soon as I get the $$, I'm going to pay Rich and his team to write me some custom software so the car is perfectly set up for the mods I have now especially with the upcoming AZ heat which puts a lot more stress on the engine.
On that point, after one dyno run it's now putting down (at wheel) so 550 lb/ft (660 lb/ft at crank given 27% loss per Rich) and 450 HP (at wheel) or ~550HP at crank. Rich said if I allowed him to do a custom tune for me with the current mods I could see +30 HP/TQ than what I have now given some inefficencies in the timing he saw. I have the dyno print out now in my hand as I type this.
This will be my next mod given the level of upgrades I have now it just makes sense. Then from there, headers baby!
OK, so I drove it home 46 miles one way and even though there was a ton of traffic I did get a few changes to boot it and....
(Composes himself....)
Holy mother of god almighty... the power and more specifically the torque is unbelievable. It's completley effortless now, it's like riding on a carpet of torque. From a dig my traction control light (I left it on) was flashing through 60MPH. I am NOT exagerating here peeps.
Trying to articulate this the car barely seems to even work hard now, when I gas it....I just "GO" and before I know it I'm at 80MPH and I have to lift. I estimate my 0-60MPH is 3.8 secs and 0-100 MPH in the 7's, and it just doesn't stop.
I'm very, very happy and can't wait until I do the custom tune with Dyno comp because at that point, it will be perfectly set for me car. (I'm a suit guy, I have 30 of them in my closet, so it's like a custom made suit, v.s. one off the rack, best way to quantify it.). Just think headers and a custom tune! This beast will be 750 lb/ft and 650 HP (at crank.)
Unbelieveable.....just...amazing, no other word for it.

Oh and they also installed the cool steel AMG pedal set from Crazymojo here on the forum and those look great as well. They add a nice shiny/metalic look to what was previously a dark, unremarkable floor area where all the pedals are.
Just that little extra...polish...to the car if you know what I mean.
Lovin' it!!

You guys will love it! Just make sure you have a pro install the 180mm pulley as there are some specifics needed. (New bolt, certain way to install it, etc.)
I'll post a video of a few 0-100MPH runs tomorrow where I'll film the speedo so you know I'm not making this all up!

Hey. Congrats on your beast being more beastly That is straight up awesome man!!! Great to know somewhere around where I live there is another beast tearing up the streets I think when I do my first engine mods I will do them all at once. IE, headers, pulley, and tune. So that might be another year or two. Anyways, we should meet up sometime to hang out and ride the beasts around town!

Thanks Mikey. I went with the ASP 180mm pulley directly from them. Figured why not go to the source?
BTW, I couldn't wait so I made a quick video of 2 runs, sorry about the curse word in advance, I was loving it!
Notice how long the traction control light stays on (Through 55MPH).

She's a monster!!!!

Yeah the video doesn't lie and the car was running for a bit too, so its wan't even ice cold!
It definitely starts hitting the wall after 130MPH without the headers BUT from 0-100MPH especially from a stop it's a monster.
Headers will add 40+ RWHP per Rich so that's my next mod after I get it completely customed tuned.
Again sorry about the curse word mid way though I was just lovin' it!

Apparently long tubes make the most HP 40+ (at the wheels) BUT they may impact your ability to pass emissions. (Born in raised in Cupertino CA - SJSU grad by the way so I know Cali emssions are strict.)
Klemman shorties apparently require no exahust modificaiton (as they're...well...short) and can pass smog/emssions more easily. They make less HP 20-25 vs. 40, (at the rear wheel) but knowing you'll always pass emission might be worth the tradeoff.
Headers start at $1,500 plus $500 install (so $2k) not counting a tune so they are more expensive. Sequentially to maximize your dollar here's what I'd recommend:
1. K&N's
2. Johnson Pump
3. Stage 1 tune
4. Upgraded HE
5. 180mm pulley
6. Stage 2 tune
7. Headers
8. TB
9. TQ converter
10. Stage 3 tune.
11. You have 800 tq and 650 HP at crank.
Mods get more expensive toward the end this first so you can to sample increased HP initially at very little cost. I'm at step 6 right now and well...you see how she runs.
My $.02.

Go kleemann long tube with primary cat delete. Its the best bang for the buck mod for headers and they will shut off the cats in the eeprom so you can keep your tune on there.

Guys will I have any trouble with emissions with the long headers? I heard previously there might be some trouble?
Long heads gives more HP correct?
Thanks as alwasy for the advice!

Just a point of clarification on my Stage 2 Jerry tune as I got a PM question on this. I love it, it's a monster, (just check the video if you don't believe me) but when I get headers put on I'll take the E55 to Dyno Comp due to their locallity and have the write me a custom tune for everything while doing repeated dyno runs.
The heat here is something else in the summer (118F), and given that I drive 100 miles in traffic every day, I want the car set up perfectly before the heat comes on along with maximizing my mod investment.
Again very happy with Eurocharge's Stage 2 tune that I have now, want to make that clear.
Thanks!
Alex

Will do thanks for the advice Hammer Down!
For tires about 3 months ago I got 4 new Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires, 245/18 up front 275/18 out back. So they're basically brand new and I made sure they were all at 35psi before the run.
They're a bit harder and not as, "Sticky" as some other tires, but as I drive so much I needed a longer wearing tire but I'm very happy with them for what I'm trying to do.
