Proper tire pressure for E63...
Hi,
Searched the forum but found conflicting answers. I have the 2-piece wheels from the P30 package and have been inflating the tire pressure (Michelin PS2) to F:36 and R:36 per the label on the door.
Took the car in for a check on my vibration problem and the tech changed the pressure to F:41 and R:46. This is quite different from the recommended cold tire pressure. Can anyone let me know what should be the normal driving tire pressure? Thanks.

RE: Tire Pressure
I also have PS2s. 41/46 is way too high for my car. Can't get traction, and the fronts are both highly sensative to road crown and ride like bricks.
My car is optimum at 37 front/36 rear cold. With these pressures, after you drive a few miles, the tires warm up and the fronts get to 41, rears are at 40
If you have vibration issues, I'd have the tires balanced and also have the wheels checked for an out of round condition.
For what it's worth, mine is smooth as glass at all speeds. The PS2's have been excellent tires needing very little balance weight and never needing to be rebalanced. Huge improvement over the OEM Conti's in every way.

Thanks for replies! My tires are the stock sizes. My tire/wheel are balanced but just can't seem to pinpoint what is causing the light vibration. Bushings all check out okay.

I had some FK-452 on the same rims and had the same problem. Never had the problem since that set of tires.
