5.5 AMG badges. Cheezy or Okay?
Been on the fence on getting these 5.5 AMG badges on my ride. What's your take? Cheezy or Okay? I kinda like em.

IMO they are weak. its like the 6.3 badge is holy cause its newer. One of my favorite things is looking at peoples face looking at "V8 Kompressor" like ummmmm whats that? the 5.5amg badge explains there is a 5.5 amg motor i guess. the V8 Kompressor just tells u its a 8 with a blower....

Love the clean look of the newer badge and that's why its on my CLS. I couldn't stand the paragraph on the fender.

I'm looking for some. Are there any other than the 59.99 eBay ones?
My primary reason is that if I paint my side badges black, they'll never go back on the right way again. Plus I like the smaller badge idea.

Its a clean look that's all. I agree the V8 Kompressor looks killer but this is something different. Just like any other aesthetic mod, just something you don't see everyday...

I like both, but I think the V8 Kompressor is more aggressive and says a lot more than just the plain 6.3

Love um both and would swap um out with no problem.

Having something in German on your car is one thing, but watching the locals sit there and try to figure it out is priceless.

I don't think they look cheesy, but I personally think the V8 Kompressor badge looks great on the E55. I definately would not change it.

I like the V8 Kompressor badge much better. The 5.5 looks too busy and I'm guessing people who glance at it can't quite decipher it before you are out of reading distance!

The 5.5 badge looks especially clean if you have black wheels with a crome lip. The combination of chrome and black on it ties everything in. IMHO.

The whole idea is that you own a Kompressor, just like there is C230 K, C32 K there is 55Ks so why remove it? its Unique.. Now if it was a C55 then ok, i believe those come debaged..

I am going to go badgeless minus the AMG emblem and letters on the trunk. I much prefer the 5.5 badge than the komp badging but that is just me.
