Bought a seat off of Ebay last week.

It arrived today (while I'm out in San Francisco).

Will be converting it to an office chair...

Will document the process in case any of you guys want to follow suit.

Sweet...will definitely look up Mark.

The seat doesn't have any "brains" so I'm hoping it's in a decent fixed position or else I'm going to have to do some trickery or find a way to manual crank it into position.

But I'm REALLY looking forward to it.

Chad Knaus has a Recaro office chair that is really cool. I think it cost around $1,000. Peanuts for that man.

Awesome. I've wanted to do this for a long time, but I simply don't have the extra cash for something silly like that.

Any chance you can attach a battery to it and take advantage of the pulse/dynamic/lumbar support?
