WHEEL PAINT

I was thinking of having the D2Forged wheels painted this winter. I love flat black centers with the gloss black lip. Sould I or should I leave them be?

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
I'm in the same boat. I like my lightweight Forestars, but tire of the black, thinking of going Chrome Black. $$$ but looks very good. Have my own gun ,etc.. Probably will do the emblems and grill while the gun it out.

I like the flat black centers with gloss black lip, but its becoming very commonplace.

Do something not seen that often, like flat black centers with a copper plated lip. Something like this with flat black in the center of course:

Marcus don't do the all black.. It only looks great on darker cars. You'll love it for 10 days and want to change it again. Your wheels are too gorgeous to begin with

I think I will do one of these guys! I had the black/black on my 03 Black E55 and it was badass. But you ar right, I was always wanting to change them. I may just leave them for now.

On another note, I love your painted front splitter. I think I may have mine painted to match.

Thanks, I think painted looks cleaner, unless you plan on running black wheels, in that case i'd leave it black

Another alternative, just paint the windows of the spokes, the register (flange) and the fasteners.

Keeps the depth of the brushed, but adds a little detail and darkness:

I may do what D2 suggested with the black back ground. That looks sick.
