Does having 2 xpipes make it quieter?
I have an xpipe in place of cats and an xpipe built inside a magnaflow muffler. Should I remove the xpipe near the front because I think there is too much velocity with the exhaust gases causing it to be quieter. Also I think my piping is smaller than stock.

You want it quieter? From what I remember you have straight pipes in place of your resonator. Why did you put the x-pipe inside the muffler? I think that it would be plenty good with x-pipe at 2nd cats and straight pipes at resonator, but u already did that I am guessing...

I put a middle muffler which happenes to have an xpipe already inside it and the xpipe from secondary cat removal. So now I have two xpipes. I want it to be a little louder and I think that the xpipe is what is causing it to be quiet. Car makes a shhhhhhhhh sound at WOT like its an external wastegate.

His wife crazy
With the second x pipe, you are effectively cancelling the exhaust pulses from the first x pipe, which in turn will make your exhaust quieter. So you need to get rid of one of those.

just went to the muffler shop and found out my muffler shop put 2.5 inch piping in my system which means I lost power and added resonance. Now replacing the whole system with 3 inch piping primaries to mufflers.

Thanks man cutouts would sound ridiculous right before the mufflers. I had a cutout on my Evo and it was loud right before my cat. Lol goto QuickTime performance.com and check out their electronic cutouts. There legit and you can adjust if you want 1-100 % open which is great so basically you can tune the sound via remote.
