Battery strap?
Wednesday night I was just cleaning the car, the car started up fine. Went for a drive (~25 degree), floored the car at 20mph, result was the yellow triangle litted up until 80mph (I got scare and backed out).
Thursday night, got home from work and saw the trunk open. I thought my son was playing with my key, nope, the battery is dead. It was actually making a fizzing sound. I tried to remove the battery but could not remove the plastic strap. Just wondering is there a way to remove the strap or I have to cut it? Thanks in advance.

The strap has a metal buckle/button that you press to release tension on the strap. The button is located on the left side of the battery towards the front of the car. Chances are the spare tire is right next to it obscuring your view. Once you get some slack you'll have to unlatch the strap to get the battery out.
