Oil you guys are using

I posted a thread about using 10W-30 and people said it is too thin for these cars.
After reading up on different oils and reading the owner's manual, MB says only 0W-40 and does NOT recommend 10W-30 in these cars.
I would do an oil change ASAP.

Stage 3 2001 b5 s4, Full bolt on 2007 E92 335i
Mobile 1 is not 100% synthetic anymore, "full synthetic" yes, but not 100% It used to be 100% until they got cheap and now have the minimum to be considered "full synthetic"
amsoil and motul are better IMO

We have all told you what we run,you can use what ever you feel is good.I think a 50w is too thick.
They put 0-40 from the AMG factory, the dealers use 0-40 and that is what 90% of us use.
This is the stuff AMG will cover if you blow up your engine

I use mobile 1 but also add a can of Restore oil additive. It makes it run extra silky smoothe and I've used it in all my vehicles. You can buy Restore at Walmart for $8 a can.

I know oil additives are controversial so I'll just say I've been very happy with it in my cars, especially those with higher miles.
My $.02.
