LMAO I feel bad now

Nothing wrong with that color, but to me it seems a bit dull compared to say black or silver, but to each his own. Either way, the paint does not make the car go any faster

I thought I'd never buy a Pewter car, but my W211 was bought Used, and has the AMG Sport Package, and I really wanted that, so I "forced myself" to go with it.

I, like many, hate anything that resembles gold, so Pewter was very underwhelming to me.

However, when shiny, and with some tints, and a classy body like the W211, I really fell in love with it. Very metallic, stealthy, and cool "smoky" vibe from the car, also, in some lights, pure classic elegance and class. Also, you don't see them around much.

Not saying I'd buy another Pewter car (I would if it was on the right body, and knowing that it isn't so common), but I did appreciate it, when I had it.

Its ok man, don't worry about it. I used to have Black W211 and I was just tired of keeping it clean so decided to go with Pewter.... getting lazy to wash my cars...

Amazing that someone totaled a 65 in less than 7000 miles

I was just looking at some cars on Autotrader. I had the Zip Code mileage thing set to "Unlimited Distance". I saw a car for a good deal, with a crashed front end. I had a feeling it was Miami.

After checking the numbers area code, I was right.

Aren't some of you guys jumping the gun? You need to figure out why it was salvaged. I've seen a lot of salvage cars that weren't really much of an issue and easily repairable get back on the road. It could have been in a flood where the insurance company deemed the entire interopr needed to be replaced (seen that before) and it added up to major dollars because OEM parts are $$$. That could explain why the interior looks older then the mileage indicated as well. In the end it's up to the buyer to do his/her homework, but a salvage vehicle doesn't necessarily mean that it's a lost cause.

It's $46K.. Car may be ok, and milage seems very good (>10K), but: There is no warrantee company in the world that will provide coverage on this, so $46K is steep IMHO.

There are 5 other S65's (2006) in the mid to high $40's on Autotrader. Some with orignal factory warranty. This salvage is a sub 30K car...

That's what I was gonna say as well. $46K sounds about right (asking price, NOT selling price) for a non salvaged car, even with those miles maybe (that low of miles isn't necessarily such a great thing).

W220's are about worthless on the Used market right now, as such is the nature of the beast. So I'd think with a Salvaged title, this car should be in the $20's as well.
