Thanks to everyone who should up.... although it was HOT and DA was not great, we still had a lot of fun

We left the track at around 12:40 am and temperature was close to 78 F. DA was between 2000 ft to 2650 ft the entire time (measured by 2 different DA meters).

I could NOT muster any better than 11.93 @ 117 mph out of my car on street tires. The best 60' time was 1.87 but most was in the 2.0 range. Will definitely need drag radials to start dipping into the 1.7x

The GT-R ran great despite the weather though... 9.7 @ 13X and I believe he hit 9.6 as well

The 55k cars ran strong as usual.... 11.5 to 12.0

Will let everybody else chime in with their times.

You should be able to get down to a 1.80 on street tires , I have on the 19's .Even though after the 1.80 60 ft i got the wonderful wiff of burnt clutches

I still think there is something on these E63's that holds the car back , The active suspension lowering itself after 60 maybe ??? The car not being run in Dyno mode ??? Maybe the trans ????

Did you splash with race fuel ??

Either way i am pretty certain you will figure it out and be running mid 11s shortly .

great job Mo.. you and I have a lot of playing to do. we'll get beat up by the Fontana heat this summer but as always it will be a blast.. oh and I think your time puts you down for the E63 record.. I know the time doesnt seem that great with all these new records but you have to remember it's a four door sedan. we went years never seeing 11's out of a sedan 63, in fact they said we could never hit 12.0's. Yes there is something holding these 4door monsters back.Later next week we will see if my new ecu has found the problem we have something that we found that may be the problem.. again grreat job MO..

Wow sweet who? I didnt see anything ever posted. I'v only seen one E63 at all the events I've been to. So that's great that there's another one out here racing.. Whats the mods and time... Mo has some one to play with..

Car is no longer stock, yesterday was first run after a few mods. I'm still working out a few details and then there should be a nice write up. I think I can squeeze an 11.5 @ 120 mph out of it in decent weather.

In comparison, there were also a bunch of C63s at the event. Some had tune-only, tune-headers, tune-header-airbox, etc... and they were running 12.2 to 12.9 (also street tires). And of course, Jeremy's legendary C63 was able to hit 11.6 @ 122 mph on drag radials but don't know what he did on street tires.

Thanks again Mo for setting this up. My first run in the BMW was at 11pm and they shut down at midnight so I only got 3 runs. My first 2 runs were just trying to get a baseline before I installed the bottle for my dryshot. I was running 11.9 @ 119.3mph, and then on the 3rd and final run...the dryshot was not engaging, or didn't make a difference. I'm trying to figure it out right now. A few weekends ago at Famoso was similar results, 11.8 which wasn't bad for the DA. 7 of my 9 runs were in the 11's, and it runs 11.8 the way I drive it on the street right now. Will have to wait till the next track day for some better numbers!

Also, who had the silver E55 that was next to my black 335i on the outskirts of Bakersfield? The car got a good jump on me, and pulled. I then switched back from my 34mpg fwy map to the race map and before we could run again, he got off the fwy. Even though I was carrying a generator, jumper battery, fuel cans, tools, etc...I think that E55 was pretty fast by the looks of it. Just curious what kind of 1/4 mile times that silver E55 put down.
