I just talked to RPM, it has the Kleemann race CATS.....Charlie is right, the stock CATS will not work with the Kleemann headers. LOL Thats why the Kleemann headers are so expensive, RACE CATS!

Actually you can still run your stock secondary cats, or replace them with race cats...or run no cats. LOL. It is the primaries that are removed with the installation of the Kleemanns. So, Kleemann headers are $1500 and I am guessing the race cats are +$400.

I did the kleemanns with primary cat delete and just kept the rear cats in place, that is the best bang for the buck way to do it.

If anything I will cut the resonator out to see if that helps at all,but I love the fact that mine sounds like a stock beast and rips down the track.Every time someone comes up and says damn that thing is a sleeper lol

if you remove those restrictive sec cats/resonators and throw a nice X pipe in there not only you'll let her breathe a bit more but you'll still get that little grunt which is not loud at all- off course not until get on it

Dude, I just got a call back from RPM, they are looking for my records. Its either no primary cats and seconds only or they are Kleemann cats. The paperwork I have just says Kleeman headers installed for $2500.

Mikey - If I'm not mistaken aren't you buying headers? If so you have to do another video with the "new" sound.

Damn it guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO friggin' easy to produce the sound out of our beasts that the inner redneck/16-year old/someone who want's everyone to look at them/drag racer wants...Our friggin' 4 door German sedan straight pipped makes any camaro boy poop his pants.

I'm trying to calculate the best performance+sound+dollar impact combination....something that doesn't have the drone and at low rpm's isn't annoying...but at high revs scares your pants off... and I'm thinking like:

Shorties+ stock primaries + res delet/X-pipe + secondaries cut + stock rear system.

Who's running that?

exhaust

Pullejo- Ask brunoboxer to post a vid of my old e55 exhaust. It did have alot of drone which I liked, but at WOT, I literally had people ducking on the side walk down town atlanta because they thought a freakin F14 was inbound You know how an exhaust can echo between the buildings down there.

For a very simple cost effect upgrade, I would run shorties with primary delete and everything else stock and run straight pipes in place of the mufflers. You will not have much drone but at WOT it will bellow.
