Modded E55 as a daily?
Those of you that have heavily modded E55's, would you recommend it as a daily driver vehicle? Thinking about picking one up as a daily and I have a problem with modding lol

Absolutely! (See sig.) I drive 100 miles to and from work every day IN TRAFFIC, in Phoenix AZ (115 degrees in the summer) with no issues.
The car is very comfortable as well and I'm a bigger guy at 6'2, 240 lbs.
DO IT!![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I would definitely say YES. It is the right size for a single person or small family to be used as a DD.

I give you guys credit. I just use my 4Runner as a daily as driving a fast car in traffic is just too frustrating to me. I work out of my house so I don't need to drive to work or anything, but I still go to my properties during the day. I used to take my 911 turbo, but getting stuck in traffic just irked me to no end. See an opening and pound it for 2 seconds then get on the brakes.

Every single day, traffic, long distances, and one time I drove it over 800 km continuosly from UAE, Abu Dhabi to home in Saudi Arabia close to Bahrain with Temperature 50 deg C.
So, I guess the answer is yes.

Off the boards, I did hear of a guy that used his as a DD for years and did recently toast ole #8, so I guess it does happen. Just the exception and not the rule so no worries bro. Be awesome having you on board with us. You KNOW what I have been preaching for years and it has been confirmed over and over again. Do a comp test and she will tell you how awesome it will perform modded. Mine avrgs around 130ish and is a dud in the 1/4 while ole alans runs near 150s straight across the boards with his 10sec machine. I can't wait to start looking for 55s when they are low teens and whip out the leakdown test on um. Good times!!
