G/B: Longtube Headers!!! APPROVED **LOOK INSIDE** Insane Deal**

All,
Question on tune here. Do I need to get my car retuned before install or can I do it after? I know with the 180mm pulley install, it HAD to be retuned before install or the car would have major issues.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks.
Alex

Thanks! I'll try and do the retune first, basically a Stage 3 Jerry tune, but just in case it's good to know I won't hurt the engine if I do the tune post install.
Can't wait! And Chris is doing the install as well for the entire system so can't go wrong with that either!

I don't have one, but I told Chris I'm cool to have mine last (yeah I'm a nice guy, you're welcome) .
I'll drop him an email today and ask. Honestly I'm cool with waiting as these are "hand crafted," and custom fabricated rather than mass produced so if they take a bit longer, I have no problem hence me volunteering to get mine last.
Sending Chris and email now and will let you know what he says.
Thanks.

Timing of delivery of this group buy is a function of how many "hands" are actually assembling them; hence the longer delivery schedule. I'm not disparaging the product at all, but there's nothing particularly special or unique about how they're being produced. Jeesh.

for some of you in question, You guys have to understand a few things....
1) Chris is Hand fabricating each set with little to no help.
2)The Orig. Deadline was about 2 months from final payment. (Considering there were alot of people that dragged getting the payment sent on time it held up the order of all materials, flanges, steal etc.)
3)There is a BIG savings here over $1,000 dollars, Is that not worth some value.. I think it is... Thats the point of a G/B
4)For those of you that are worried about added time because of the last 4 sets added (Those are not getting touched until the 10th set is out the door.)
Keep some of this in mind as chris is working countless hours to complete the headers.
Chris has advised me that 4 sets are out at coating right now. So the should be shipped out in a few days

I get the one man show thing that Chris has going at the moment, however this is seeming like its has turned into a casual project.

Hey Greg,
Materials have been purchased and everyones headers are being built including yours. You were made awhare of the approximate build time of 2 to 3 months from the time the last payment was recieved. Even though you didn't participate in the original list, I accepted your order and gave you the group buy pricing a month after we began. Due to the nature of this project and the large amount of money required to complete it, I can't refund anyone. Have some patients, and you will recieve your headers soon. I'm building 15 sets of headers, some with exhaust systems, and each set requires 25 to 30 hours to complete. These are very labor intensive and require this time to make sure everyone gets a quality product. I promise you will not be disapointed with your headers! The fastest E55's in the world run our headers for a good reason!
Thank you,
Chris

Floored Fab Headers (full)
I received my LT's full system a few weeks ago. It is being installed by Chicago Performance & Tunning (Melrose Park IL.). Al is the owner, and was commenting on how well the headers fit. They also installed a larger heat exchanger in place of the oem with a Johnson pump(CM30), should be a big improvement over stock. I will post pics later.
