Woohoo just heard from Chris. Mine are in the group of headers that they just picked up today. He says they will be packing them tomorrow to ship. Woot woot. Indeed four sets will be ready to be shipped tomorrow.

All,
Keep in mind Chris also has a full time job during the week (40+) hours so I'm assuming he's building these on the weekends.
Personally, I'm happy to wait for mine.

To be honest, if I had known that ahead of time it would have made a big difference in my expectations. When this was setup, it should have been mentioned that producing these headers was going to be a side project for Chris, and not a primary focus.

Good news! Just got an email from Chris wanting to confirm my shipping address. He said he's in the process of boxing up the headers to be shipped tomorrow, I believe. Just waiting for a tracking # now. I'll keep everyone posted.

Wow a week to pack and ship. I just heard from Chris apparently "they will be picked up by UPS tomorrow".
My apologies for my juvenille attitude.

Just to clarify, last Thursday he said they had picked them up and were in the process of packing them. Now today he says they will be going out tomorrow. GO F*** YOURSELF, I am proud to say I will never recommend or do business with him again. If I could get my money back I would.

Its a shame to see all this bi**hing after all the hard work I put into this G/B. I tried to help my fellow E55 members on getting a good deal on some good parts for CHEAP. We all knew it would be a few months. I realise Time has gone over that, Cut the guy a break, your saving over $1k, and he is working very hard to get this done. All of these headers are made from scratch, and Its just Chris doing the fabrication. Also put into consideration they have to get sent to JET HOT for coating which takes time as well, and then back to chris. If thats not worth the wait then I would have sugguested you not to get in the G/B. PLEASE guys be civil about this. You will get your headers soon.

For whatever reason I think a lot of people were under the impression that they would be done quickly. I personally knew it would be at least three months, so at this point I think things are a little behind but not a lot. If he is on #7 then I guess I'm next

Yeah, this is turning into an F*****G joke. I forked over $2500 for the full system and I am pissed to say the least. I asked him for my money back as this is ridiculous, this is the email I got, name is even wrong
:
Hey Greg,
Materials have been purchased and everyones headers are being built including yours. You were made awhare of the approximate build time of 2 to 3 months from the time the last payment was recieved. Even though you didn't participate in the original list, I accepted your order and gave you the group buy pricing a month after we began. Due to the nature of this project and the large amount of money required to complete it, I can't refund anyone. Have some patients, and you will recieve your headers soon. I'm building 15 sets of headers, some with exhaust systems, and each set requires 25 to 30 hours to complete. These are very labor intensive and require this time to make sure everyone gets a quality product. I promise you will not be disapointed with your headers! The fastest E55's in the world run our headers for a good reason!
Thank you,
Chris
