My 05 E55 Baseline Dyno Graph

I am pretty happy with the numbers. I have to say that although the car was at operating temperature, it was sitting outside in the cold for a bit, so I am sure these numbers are on the high end.

I have a pulley, which we are installing today, and a program going in tomorrow or Monday, then back on the dyno next week.

That appears to be a strong '05 for sure. My '03 did 413/469 as its baseline last month. I'm following suit with the pulley/tune next month. Your air/fuel also looks really good. I was running pig rich up top but, the tune should get that to the right levels.

Solid numbers. Running the car when cool makes a substantial difference on these cars.

What's up with the A/F ratio? At peak torque it's near stoich!

Regardless, nice numbers. I can't wait to find out what mine puts out.

Where did you get your car on the dyno? I'm not sure there's a shop in MS that has a dyno.

Dynospeed in Memphis(just off 240) has a dynojet.

It's going to really lay down some numbers once the Headers get installed

put it on a mustang dyno for real world numbers, dynojet is always on the high side.

I really don't care about bragging numbers, I want to see the gains from the mods.

Bingo!!!

as long as you hit the same dyno and use the same correction factor you just want to see the gains from before and after.

Those numbers are on the high side and I think you will hit 490whp 560rwt when done modding.

most people pick up about 65whp with a pulley and tune

I own a shop and we see people sweating the numbers from different dynos all the time.

I understand that, and everyone does. I'm just explaining that a better way of finding out what the car actually made is from a loaded mustang dyno, not a dynojet.

These are real world numbers as the cars driving down the street. It factors in weight to the hp equation, unlike dynojet.

How does weight affect rwhp? You say "real world", explain what that means in regards to rwhp. Loading the car at vehicle weight will aid in more accurate tuning only if that is what you mean...

Dont worry about the numbers bro its like you said.its about the gains and not for bragging rights.that's why most of us don't post up dyno numbers any more because someone will always hate on the numbers.

Take it to the 1/4 mile after to prove the new power.

Your dyno is not that far off either.I put down 460rwt 403whp on a load dyno stock so its only about 20wh over a mustang

I ran this car on our dyno so I felt compelled to respond.

The car "actually made" what it actually made. Just because you prefer a mustang dyno does not make Dynojet numbers invalid.

Force = mass x acceleration

Work = force x distance

Power = work/time

Dynojet uses the above to calculate horsepower.

As far as a Mustang dyno being the same as the car driving down the street. When I'm driving my car down the street it accelerates through the gears and does so at a different sweep rate in every gear. It certainly isn't locked into a predetermined sweep rate.

Fact is, neither dyno exactly duplicates driving a car on the road but both are useful tuning tools that produce comparable numbers to their respective makes.

In conclusion, this thread was started to show the dyno results of the owners newly acquired E55. If you would like to debate the merits of different brands of dynomometers kindly start a new thread so we can leave this one on course.

Faulty Intercooler pump will delay the "after" numbers.
