Craig's FS thread was the best monday morning read I've had in a while.

I didn't even know he was selling the car again until I saw it as a recent thread...

I actually feel quite bad that it went south but almost want to thank him for the 10 min break and entertainment.

*Edit* - BTW what's up with all the recent bans and suspensions being handed out lately?

Whats funny is the main troll in all for sale threads is ALX some wana be car salesman that has been banned on every other forum. But the mods cleaned his thread up leaving all the other trolls comments but getting rid of most all of ALXs. Why clean and protect ALX the mole but leave all others negative comments in his ad? ALX is the main troll back there.

Crapping on for sale threads is one thing, I understand that.

But since everything he said was respectful, courteous, and most importantly- correct - why would he be banned?

All he says is it is way over priced way over priced, I then challanged him to find the same car, in said condition, with a brand new warranty for my price, and NOTHING. That is because they are not out there.

I would be super pissed if this was a fire sale or economic forced sale, but it is just to get into another AMG.

I guess that is why I did not contact the mods and just let it be. Some peoples pants just get shorter by ruining others for sale threads.

Emoving, that may be true but why lower yourself to looking down on the guys profession. I manage a dealership ( and DO own an AMG) and I have plenty of wonderful people working for me that are "just used car salesmen".

Who said anything about looking down.....I didnt say crapy used car salesman, I didnt say shady used car salesman, I simply stated that he was a used car salesman who dosnt even own a MB and is trolling here for sales while crapping in peoples for sale thread. Why are used car salesman so sensitive anyway! Damn!

He's got an underlying motive, so you know why he's telling you that your price is at the upper edge.

What about the others in the thread? Are they also salesmen trying to broker a deal for your car?

I started looking for an E55 in May, and finally purchased in October of 2010. I'll give you that it's hard to find a car in your condition [as the market is flooded with detritus - 2003's as low as 21k, there were 3 2004's I looked at in the Dallas area with <50k miles for <$25k]. That helps your argument about asking a premium for your car.

However, when I finally found a black/black, absolutely cherry specimen, with 42k miles, CPO'd with warranty through July 2012, with option to extend warranty at that time through the dealer if I so desire, I only paid $28,850. [and strong bias for seller, who is an anesthesiologist]

I had to look as far as New Hampshire, but I found what I was looking for. If your mods + your 2 years of warranty add up to $5k, seems like your car is priced just right. [not being sarcastic]
