E55 renntech
ECU Tune/ QUESTION
Bought an E55 with Renntech stage 5. The mods where done a few years back. With years gone by and advances in technology would I get additional performance out of having the car retuned? Thanks in advance for the help.

Iam sure It couldn't hurt. The best thing to do Is get it on a dyno or Datalog A/F's and see where your at right now. things change so you want to make sure your spot on with the A/F's. If not they It wouldn't hurt to get a retune. Or a touchup.

I would think so, to a degree. I guess it depends on who did it then, and who you are going to have do it now, as well. You probably won't get earth shattering improvements or anything, but maybe some refinement in areas of the curves. I think Renntech has their stuff together and as a major tuner, may have tunes that aren't as aggressive. That could be an area of gain too.
I'd probably do a baseline dyno in your area where tuners come in for tuner days and have your graph analyzed for any areas of possible improvement.
