I think Marcus is really saying: Do your research before you say "I'd also probably go with coilovers anyways if they were ever to fail."

And do research about a DIY on the rear. The dealers follow protocol and drop the entire subframe. It can be done w/o doing that but it's not for the faint of heart. And Arnott does not make rears.

Someone on here already did it and it worked great...it was on an E550 ( I think ) but it shouldn't be any different. I'm not really sure yet though if I'm willing to sacrifice the comfort just yet.

Yup...read that. Good info since lowering the subframe is kinda scary just to swap out some airbags.
