Nah, don't jump on it. If it's clean with complete history and there's some warranty involved then i'd offer $40k rigid if you want it quickly. If you have time, offer like 38k and see what they say. May as well save yourself a couple of grand.

When I bought mine from a non-MB dealer, I felt I got a better price than if it were at a MB dealer. My rational was that they wanted to get it off the lot as it was a competing luxury brand. Maybe you can use that to your advantage if it's at another manufacturer's lot.

2005 E55 AMG
That seems a little high, but only by a bit.
Since you have never had an e55 I would suggest going for that instead.
You can get one with miles just as low, with warranty, and money left to mod, for less.
Just my opinion though, you may be set on the 63.
Depending on the selling conditions(other buyers, how long it's been in their hands etc.) you can definitely get that 2k off if you aren't in a rush.

Is the the one in Winnetka you are speaking of? I called on this yesterday and the manager said that they are increasing the price after the weekend, which is prolly bs. I think 40k is a fair price. Good luck.

Folks, the car is not under warranty anymore, the guy who turned it in had CPO from MB but it wont apply since a non - mb dealership is selling it ... I'd probably just stay away from it

Doesn't mean much.... A friend just bought an '07 with 34k miles for $36,000... The car came from NY ( ****ty roads and Snow belt), not many options, needed brakes right off the bat,no service history and with out any warranty... O forgot to mention the car would soon need tires too..
