Guys...I think it is time to fire up the old poser disposer!
I leased the CL65 in 2005. Returned it in 2008.
Times are a bit different financially these days. What more can I say?
Just looking at buying another AMG cash as I love the drive, but not looking to be saddled with a $3k payment. (like the cl65)
I'll stop short of posting my old lease paperwork (although tempted) as I've got nothing to prove to you.

Just sounds odd that someone leased a 150k+ car and now is looking at a 25k used car. JMO

Looks sweet. I am in Southern California. Getting out to MA is going to be the biggest challenge. I've never bought a car long distance. Any suggestions on how to do any due diligence on the car? Do you have any experience with this?

Get a PPI from a dealer. The car is under warranty so not too much to worry about. Shipping will be @900.

Like emoving said, the best thing to do is have a 3rd party go over the car and then you would have to fly out to see it and then go from there.

You would pay cash?I still owe 13k on the loan so I would have to pay that off and get the title in hand first.

I have never bought a car far away either and got lucky when this car came up local.Few things you need to know, that car is modded and has kleemann headers with the primary cats deleted, its been tuned to pass emissions and clears all obd2 checks when plugged in.The car still has the rear cats and dosnt smell or anything but since your in cali you would need to find a shop that dosnt look at the headers to pass you.

here is a picture of what Im talking about.

To be honest, when it comes to modifications, I have very little knowledge. It looks like a great car, but may be over my head when it comes to having to work around inpections. On top of it all, being on the opposite side of the country makes it tough to be comfortable with the transaction. Everyone on here seems to vouch for you. I just might not be the right buyer.
Thanks so much for all of the info and up front honesty!

From my understanding is,it will fail a visual inspection if the guy at the shop knows what to look for.

Most shops dont and just pulg in the port and pass you,but I wanted to let the op know the car has its primary cats deleted.
