Bad Transmission?
Earlier today on my way home from the gas station, i was approaching a stop sign up hill and let off the throttle, to prolong brake life, and when i got over the hill (about 150 yards from Stop sign) the car rolled from about 30 to 20 then the car just about jolted me forward, and the RPMs went down quickly, almost as if it stalled and was engine-braking... the car didn't shut off or anything, and i thought maybe my streak of driving like a grandma did something to the adaptive settings. then @ the stop, i gave it W0T till about 60, and came to slow down to the 35mph speed limit, and it happened again while slowing @ a red light.. should i be worried?

You have owned a 2003 E55 and have not heard about the radiator issue? The Valeo radiator that leaks into the tranny and cause issues. Read up.......https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ans-lines.html

Easiest way to test is to do a tranny flush. And when you drain the fluid, drain some into a glass jar. Swirl it around and if i creates a milky white film residue on the side of the jar you have contamination. If there is no residue then tranny flush was worth the effort anyway.

A normal scan tool wont show the codes being thrown,if any they would show in star.I hope its nothing serious.

...have you had to add radiator fluid lately..or to the reservoir( is it low)...I don't know if it's same issue, but before I got rid of my 05' C230....MB replaced my tranny....it wasn't shifting quite right...and I thought it was like a software issue... but they never told me why they replaced the tranny...they just said they couldn't get it to shift right either...GL man

well, i never really drove much from 2003 to 2005 (maybe 4000 miles all together) then in late 2005 it went in storage, till about mid 2007, then went in for a blown gasket on the block that was leaking oil (which was $700, and it was bad too, wet oil from a car that didnt move for almost 3 years??). then when life calmed down after all the gas prices elections etc, i moved out of chicago and found benzworld dot org last year, but it was so dead all the time, and a fellow 55 owner pointed me towards this forum. must say, I really feel dumb for not going on it sooner. some real friendly and helpful people on here.
