until someone steals your car

 

Not sure if this is the right thread but I have an 04 E55 with only one key. If I dont have the key right next to the gear shift or near the ignition switch I get the Key Not Recognized! warning. Even when I put it in my front shirt pocket after I start I will get the red key not recognized warning. I have replace batteries twice in 2 days. Any suggestions or similar problems?

I thought keyless go was a gimmick....until I got my E55 with keyless go. Now I wish my other cars had this feature as it's very handy.
