Ok, so I am in the market for an E55. I found one that has everything I want except keyless GO. Now I think its a pretty cool feature but I am hesistating buying the car because it doesn't have it. Am I being ridiculous?

 

No, buy the car you want that has all the features. There are plenty of them out there

keyless go is a waste..

when you on the go, grap the handle thinking its already unlock but the system is slow to respond, you pull your door handle hard and it does not open..because the system delay..i've done this many times, almost break the handle off... lol

 

Depends who you ask, I personally love it just as much for its use as for I can say, "no key push to start," lol.

I personally love keyless. Never take the key out of my pocket.

If you are getting the luxury beast you might as well get all the luxury you want. You will find one with it. Most have it.

 

+3 I thought it was a useless gizmo when I first saw it, but now have it on two cars. I love it. The only problem is pushing the start button and it not starting, only to realize no keys in pocket. Still on desk.

 

+4, keyless is kool, keep the keys in your pocket and press buttons for everything!

I waited for a car to come up with EVERY option that i wanted and more, its worth the wait!

I have keyless go and it is one of the best options in my opinion. You put the key in your pocket for the day and you are done. I love it. I dont care for dynamic seats or ventilated seats which to me is a WASTE ( I have those and have never switched them on).

 

dude, use those vented seats. that's a sweet option when it's steamy outside. dynamic seats are a nice try, but silly.

Dynamic seats rock! I think besides the HP and 0-60 whiplash, the dynamic seats get the next biggest wow factor from passengers.

Mine are on all the time.

Ventilated is alright but for a slight cool.

 

Same here dynamic is only off if i'm doing powerslides. People are always wowed/freaked out when the seat "grabs" em.
Vented seats ,however, are a mind thing. Cool blue leds make the seat feel cool

 

damn im in the same shoes im looking at cls55 but it doesnt have keyless go

is it possible to get swapped in later by wiring? and switching the gear knob?

 

Not worth the hassle and money. Just wait and get it with one or forget about the feature entirely

 

I love the dynamic seats and really love the pulse mode!!! would really wait for keyless go it is the bomb.

i dont think you can 'add' KG, but you can add remote start..

Today I would find it hard to drive a luxury car without keyless-Go.
Its should be standard on all MBs IMO.
