I felt a little cut when i watched this video. ( n/a ) carreras with PDK gearbox's running some very fast 1/4 mile time. Even the none s models are freakin fast
Great video but shows all the specs
I know in japan they run very high octane at the pump well over 100 octane. but still nice times
AMG need that style box.
All the new cars have them GTR/Porsche and alot more. I could c stock e55's running mid 11's with a box like that. auto&manual are finished now its time for amg to make a move.

The 997 Turbo / Turbo S latest incarnation has this box and apparently its pretty much at the box's limit in terms of torque... But they are blitz fast off the line new turbo S is rated a 3.2 (0-60mph) flat to the 458 Italia... that is unheard of take off speeds.
So over the qtr you will rip awesome 60' times as well as ET's but your Traps will be a disappointing relative to the ET's I expect.
GT2 uses it too and has launch control FWIW / While GT2RS has a manual box .... thats real old school (and not sure if I like it or not), but only box small/strong enough they could find to realiably run with the 600+hp and 800+nm torque.
Its not that these flappy paddle boxes cannot be made to handle the power/torque, its just that they cannot be made small enough (yet). Loads of space in a E55 to amke them work but that is a nighmare mod of unrealistic proportions.
Funny new 911 (991) out in 8 months - ferk time flies. Will finally see a 4.0L flat 8 perhaps?
