07 or 08 E63? Which one.........
Looking at 07 and 08 E63s. My favorite years are the 07-09 "face lift" years, but an 09 is out of my budget range. So I guess my question is; have there been any number of issues from either year that should sway me to one or the other. It seems to me they are the same car. Thanks in advance to any helpers.

You are correct - there is no difference. The '09 car has a Nav update, I believe. But between 07 and 08, its the same animal.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I have a 08 e63, rarely driven with 17,000 miles. Just went in the dealer for defective rear seat release, defective air pump for the seat adjustment, loose sirius radio antenna, defective outside driver door handle push button.

I have an 08 and no problems. I got it used with 26k on it and am just over 40k now. Can't say enough good things about her.

I thought I read somewhere on this forum that the '07s were prone to squeaky brakes, which was corrected for the '08 models. I could be wrong.
Mine too, has been trouble-free.

My 09 seems to be smoother than my 07. I have PS2s on now and the car handles nicely and is just as smooth as the POS Continentals that came on the car.

Thanks for the input...just the kind of stuff I was looking for!! By the way..how are these power-houses in the winter. I live in the New England. On my present E320, I have dedicated wheels w/ Bridgstone Blizzaks w/ no trouble at all. But 500+ HP is quite a difference from my 221 HP.
