Great DIY! Excellent write up. I do like the look of these on a dark car but not sure how it would look on a white or silver car.

You could always get a paint that color matches your car. Would look good IMHO.

Excellent DIY, Thanx a lot

Question: does it effect the light ability to light the way at night?

Wow. That does look really good. Nice write up.

Off topic Q: how do you get the car to have such a shiny and "wet" paint look?

it may look good on your car since you have the black pano roof. and with the black wheel it will definately stand out.

That looks sick man! Nice job. I can't believe you're selling those HRE's now... They would tie it all together so well. Hopefully you have some other murdered out wheels in the works

I notice no difference. Actually after the buffing of the headlights i think the output may be better

People ask me this all the time and to be honest I think its filthy right now LOL. I'm very **** about my cars. I only use Adams products (www.adamspolishes.com Can only be bought online and they are pricy, BUT well worth the money!!)

I really want a nice set of 18's with some M/T et streets so I can plant the power. But to be honest If someone does not buy them soon I'm going to keep them. The wheels look sick on the car. I think I'm going to chang me mind on selling them.......

unlike the lowbeams which are projectors, our highbeams are reflectors...and since you just painted the reflectors you essentially gave up any worthy highbeam illumination. yes, they still turn on and yes you still have the hid illumination, but you don't have any highbeams...

I thought if he has bixenon, the reflector highbeams only complement the HID high beams . I don't think there will be a significant reduction.

Great write-up OP, complements your car pretty darn well. Now I got no excuse not to do this . Did you wrap that grill yourself too?

while the hid cutoffs do adjust when the highbeams are triggered, the reflectors are the main highbeams. our cars have the power and capability to easily run out of headlight at higher speeds. ymmv but highbeams are not something i'd be willing to give up!

I think it would look awesome on a white pano like mine -- and with my black wheels -- it would be a nice touch.

Thanks guys!! I didn't know this would be so popluar. Also as far as the highbeams I turned them on tonight while driving and I could notice no difference. So I don't know to each there own though you don't have to black the Hi beam housings.

Evolved8, as far as your high beams go, my only concern for you would be leaving your high beams on for an extended duration (thats if anyone ever does) so as not to melt the fabulous work you've done to the reflectors.
