Yes you butthead, I have actually witnessed an M6 pulling on a Gallardo on an empty highway a couple of years ago. Even my own M5 kept up evenly with it.

Ahmed do you even know why the e55 dies up top end?our cars are monsters in the first 3 gears.
Once we hit 4th gear right around 130mph is where the m5/6 will start caching up.its because our 4th and 5th gears are very tall,4th will do over 160 and 5th will do 256 mph if you had enough power to get there.

Im very happy to have a car that will rocket to 132mph and then start losing steam arund 145 ish,we get better gas milage and no one in the states races over 140.its simply unsafe and risks so many penaltys.

Now the next twin turbo e55 will have a seven speed with shorter 4th 5th 6th and an oover drive 7th gear.

Do you honeslty think the next m5 will have a chance up top end?

Rated power is 571hp and 664ftlbs

The new huge s63 already beat the m5 in the 0-150 mile and it weighs alot more than the m5

Ahmed no video it was tested by a car mag and saw it when the new twin turbo s63 came out,it beat the m5 by like 5 seconds(from memory)and it weighs like 800lbs more.

Sorry for being lazy but can you link me to the car mag and its stats on the new S63 AMG?

I have no doubt that this new 5.5L Twin Turbo V8 is VERY fast/quick. (Almost as fast as the 65s I heard just stock) I just wanna see the numbers that's all. (Even though it IS numbers/bench racing)

Too bad buddy boy. The KLeeman K4 E55 was DRIVEN by Kleeman employees themselves! And still lost to the M6 stock! I'll give you the benefit of doubt... And I'll be completely honest: I'm surprised too that the K4 would lose like that. Maybe something wasn't right or the car was heatsoaked massively?

Either way, KLeeman embarrassed themselves that day.

it was a german car mag,google is your friend.If I recall it did the 0-200k in 13.7 seconds with massive traction issues getting off the line and weighed over 5000lbs

No joke but I"m getting more and more impressed by this Twin Turbo V8 AMG is putting out in their latest line of AMGs. Still won't handle or have soul like a BMW M should but at least is now legitimately FAST/QUICK in all speeds and gears.

Of course I'd rather be silent when a NEW S63 AMG with a NEW Twin Turbo V8 with a lot more HP and torque AND the MCT puts out more speed than now the "older" M5/M6. About time AMG put something faster from all speeds? Hahah!

Now wait till the next generation F10 BMW M5 and F12 M6! THen let's see who's faster!

Thats fine,the new e55 will be about the same weight and have 100more ftlbs over it,Im sure the M will keep up,but its going to be the e55 and m5 all over again with the e55 ahead to about 140-150mph.

This is why I went over to AMGs,I was sick of not having any power under 5000 rpms,

Here is me with sticky tires braking the back end loose at 30-35mph with easy at 2500 rpms.
