Anyone using the Scangauge II?

I want to purchase something that I can mount on my cluster or possibly in the ash tray space. I personally can't stand wires around the dash. My understanding is the Scangauge plugs into the OBD port. Those with this device mounted in the car, how do you have it mounted? Are you happy with the data points it can provide?

Thanks,
Todd

Fabulous tool although after my ecu remap it wont connect to the car on some other tunes it works on mine for some reason no dice.

Nothing more I can do apparently and been on it with the agents for over 2 years now.

Real pity as I love the real time IAT/MAP/Timing etc gauges, although keep in mind the sample rate is around 1-2 per second and not continuous.

My scan tool stoped working out of no where and was going to try this.does it sample slower than a regular scan tool? Because our ecu is not really that fast over obd anyway

The scangauge works well on my car. You can adjust the rate so it reads a bit faster. Pretty easy to navigate and use. I'd recommend it to others.

How do you adjust the sampling rate? Do you select less parameters to be displayed so it samples faster.

It allows you to adjust the rate between normal, slow, and fast through the rate setting option. The rate differences
are really noticeable from one setting to the next.

The gauge is great and would recommend it 100% - as long as it connects to your car.

Did you purchase that car from RBM in Duluth, GA?

I think I remember seeing that car on the lot at the dealer..
