Well...after a year or so of grief and heckling...I caved.







I'll probably pull it off and give it a few more layers...but I do like it.

Not yet - will probably put two or three more coats (Krylon FUSION) and then clear coat it with a satin clear.

I've got about 4 or 5 coats on it now...but with the risk of chipping on it...I don't think you can over-do it.

Sounds like a plan. Did you have to pull the grill itself apart, or just spray the whole thing?

You unbolt it, and you seperate it from the back plate.

And...I'm right there with you...I love the blacked out light housing. Very sharp. But damn...just a little more work than I want to do. (just a little)

Looks great. One of the first mods I did, first I did matte black, and a month later redid it to gloss black to match the pano roof enjoy it!

I ended up putting about ... oh...8 or 9 coats of clear coat on it. :-)

And DEFINITELY agree...either gun metal Sl63 rims or black rims.

And then a slight star lowering...

And LED's in the fogs...

And cosmetically, that'll be where I want it. :-)
