Bringing color to our Engine Bay ?

So fellas, what would it take to add some color especially the red one, just like Brabus,to our engine bays ?

Post some picts if you already have successfully done it ?

I would start by adding TTM air flow scoops or what ever they are called them. They are red and they go right behind the grill ?

Take your surge tanks off and have them powder coated red. It looks hot.

I have since pulled the top right and left plastic covers and sprayed them satin black with clear to freshen them up, and painted the coolant cap and filter cap viper red with clear to match the oil cap. You get the idea though:

Apparently that wrap actually helps keep the temps down, read all the threads on this.
Going to be doing mine as soon as I can walk again and the temperatures outside go up. Looks pretty good too. Wish those intake scoops were a tad cheaper for what they are, may have to make something custom.

The Vazha, it is heat wrap from summit racing, so easy to install for little cost and a small temp drop.

Quantify your illicit statement please!

Have you even seen a set in person to see the actual development that went into the scoop manufacturing and design? $300/pair is too expensive for a baller like you?

Can't wait to see your custom scoops.

You are also the friend of Angelo's that, even after the hell that he went through for a year with that tuning company. you are having them tune your car?

Bruce,
Your scoops are well worth the money and of very good quality. The weather is supposed to break this week so I will get you those pics. Sorry, I am not putting you off.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. 300/set actually seems fair. I must've gotten some wrong information. Looks like a quality product and good luck with your sales.

As for the deal with Eurocharged tuning my car, I'm not gonna get into it.

From what I've heard the heat wrap also adds a couple of horsepower. At least it does on motorcycles... is the same true for our cars?

If the Snow Performance Stage 2 is p/n 20010 then you have yourself a deal Ang!

That VRP pulley(bolted outer pulley design) is good for a door stop or paperweight(and it STILL might FAIL doing either)!

Chawkins, and Worth the Wait - Those are some sharp looking engine compartments. Just a little detail and they look great.

+1! One of my favorite under the hood mods Even though Bruce needs to send me some Red TTM decals But since we chatted I actually love the look of red behind that grille and I think it will look much better after the grille gets painted.

Brian, your engine compartment is da bidness!!

Damn, I feel so bland with my black TTM scoops, but I will say I got a ton of comments regarding them last time I had the car at MIR. They are a must have addition for any e55 owner. Thanks Bruce!
