Baseline Dyno Run

Baseline before I get the tune, Renntech headers only on these pulls.
I spent about 2 hours trying to figure out how to make this image look better and gave up and started drinking single malt whiskey instead as that seemed more important at the time.
In case you can't see it like me, it says 454HP/476TQ which both seemed pretty good to me for an almost stock car. Opinions? And most importantly does anyone know how to post something like this shot and make it freaking usable to others

Regards

Very similar to my headers only dyno of 448, 475. Guess the PLM's not only look similar, but perform similar.

Why's your dyno start at ~4200 rpm? You need to start it at 2000 rpm, that's where you'll find the peak torque.

That's another interesting issue. When we were doing the pulls and try to go 100% throttle, the car would downshift and do a burnout on the dyno. We tried manual mode and all but it kept downshifting when we would floor it. This is the first auto car I've owned in about 25 years and I didn't know what to do, so we just did the pulls from a high enough speed that it wouldnt downshift lol.

My brother had that issue when we were both dynoing our cars.Mine is an 05 and in manual it wont downshift even if I were to hit the kick down on the pedel,it also wont upshift on the street in M and will bounce off the rev limiter.

On my brothers 04 it kept downshifting on the dyno and his car will upshift in M mode on the street.

You have to go wot without hitting the kickdown on some cars I guess. On mine I just smash it and it wont shift.
