Should I keep my e55 or get a 63
I have a 2005 e55 with 82k on it I. Found 07e63 with 70k
Very clean in and out cleaner then my 55 you think I should trade or keep my 55 I know I can mod my 55 and make it a beast but I love the look of the 63 front

I would try yo find a E63 with considerable less miles on it. Although the E63 is more reliable in regards to no SC, intercooler pump, or SC clutch. The E55 offers more torque, easy to mod. The E63 looks better, has a slightly updated suspension geometry, a bulletproof engine and tranny. I think its better overall. mercedes thrives to improve their products, and I think that they suceeded with the E63 (W211) I don't care for the W212, at least not yet. I absolutely love my 07 E63, and would only trade it for CLK 63 Black Series.

I wanted a 55 but now own a 63 because of the look. I do like the fact that on a 55 you can mod it for more power as you see fit, but than I have a second car for power and fun. I did not plan on any upgrades only the ones which will make the car better and safer if anything. Air filters ECU if needed to solver the delay when taking off.( I dont have that problem)If you want lots of power and can afford down time for upgrades then the 55 is the car for you. If you want something fast nice and just a driver the the 63 would be better.IMO...Plus I guess most of the bugs in the 55s are gone in the 63s

I suggest test driving one and than see for yourself. Personally I didn't like the feel (power wise) of the e63. Hence the e55. But e63
Has other refinements which e55 lacks... So it's really a personal preference. Either way both are beasts!

Acutally if its the touring edition, yes for sure. Rear cam, Nav Leather, Psensors, Power Everything, and shuts off 3 of 6 cylinders to save gas when ure not romping on it. as well as a whole bunch more crazy options.
But I get your point.
If you like the shape/design you can always update the look of your 55 to a 63

Like people have said, you can change the exterior to look pretty much like an E63. You'll miss some interior refinements and if you get a 2009 E63 you'll get a way better latest COMAND and nav system.
I bought my E63 as a grocery getter. The later cars are a lot more reliable with improved parts. Less issues. They make a great daily driver and with the 7 speed (better mpg, too.) The motor is definitely super smooth, and has that NA V8 sound. And the steering feel of the E63 is much better (and the car handles better overall.)
But if it's more a 'project' car you prefer and it's 100% all about performance and getting your thrills daily that way, then stick with the E55. Plus it's your car and you know its condition, maintenance, etc., already.
If you decide you can live with the NA motor of the 63, then do what Yullie says and find one with low mileage and CPO extended.

Thats way too much money for an '07 w 70k mi...I had a SERIOUSLY hard time selling my '07 w 38k mi for more than $38k and my car was immaculate...
