w212 E63 Estate/Wagon coming in October.
i've been asking the question a lot lately. rumors indicated it was coming, but nothing firm. seems firm now. the new york times mentioned it in a cadillac article last month and my dealer confirmed it with MBUSA. can't imagine too may dealers willing to stock one.
that said, it looks like the car won't ship with a 3rd row option. i want that 3rd row. my current wagon has it, and i'm hoping the factory unit can be fitted after delivery. any of our european brothers have any input on how the boot area may differ from the non-AMG car? can't imagine what would prohibit that 3rd row in the AMG that the other cars don't have.

Excellent - I'll hang on to my E55 for 2-3 more years (I have a whopping 31K miles on it) and then pick up a CPO E63 estate.
I simply cannot fathom buying another AMG new. (And I got $20K off my car in December 2006...)
But - it means I don't have to buy the Caddy - because that was looking to be my only "next" option.
