they come up every now and then on ebay, I think they've been sold out recently so I just painted mine. prep really well by sanding it and make sure to get a thick even coat or else it will start to chip

The flat badge also was my first mod but after a while I put back the hood ornament, I like how it makes the car anonymous and no one think you are going to smoke them when they see the Mercedes star pulling next to them...
Plus on the 63 you'll have two badges next to each other, a bit weird from a design point of view.
