It appears that you have once again demonstrated a strong ability to do the wrong thing. It all started with 55wagon’s wheels. He asked for help from the members with chasing you down. He had no expectations of financial help from the group, but a spontaneous outpouring of assistance came from the members, initiated by bramage and Jakpro. Other members jumped in and the money was collected in minutes. What impressed me is without doubt many other members would have helped if they had been following the thread when the whole thing went down. They never had the opportunity or they would have helped too.

You clearly followed the thread or at least saw it at a later date when some disparagements were cast your way. Some of which, I thought a bit harsh at the time. I am not so sure now. You did nothing. The thread dropped into obscurity and a year goes by.

Fast forward to a few days ago, and out of nowhere comes what seems to be a sincere attempt at making something right. It could be the post was a ruse, your account was hacked, and some twelve year old is laughing his **** off at us. If that is the case, so be it. I’m taking it serious for now. We comply with your request posting a partial list of members involved. Any of which, you could have sought out. What did you do? It appears you are choosing to do the wrong thing again even after the members suggested a donation to a needy and worthy cause would be in order. Making that donation would right a lot of previous wrongs. I’m not sure why I was so optimistic, clearly you lack the moral fiber to do the right thing or maybe you don’t. Why else would you have posted your request? Make the donation!

The whole thing makes me a bit pissed. The first part, not so much. The second part with him coming out of nowhere sounding sincere was BS. I traded 1/2 dozen or so emails with him and the whole time he was saying he would make good. a$$wipe.

Hope all the SD boys are clear of the fires. I used to live in Carlsbad, San Marcos, and Escondido, among other places in North County. I haven't checked to see exactly where the fires are.
