Old and cheap are relative in this case. Old as in 2005-2006 and cheap as in cheap compared to a new LP560. The economy has helped drive the used exotic prices down quite a bit as a lot of people probably need to get out of them by necessity regardless of depreciation. Unfortunately it isn't something I can achieve yet or I would be out driving one right now instead of working late.

tough call. trying to make this decision myself. i moved out of a 911 into the wagon. part of me wants to go back into a 911TT, or maybe a merc coupe. clk BS, or a big CL.

keep in mind the new e63 wagon is said to be on the way in a few months. it should have the 5.5TT.

Nope - have toy cars for the "real" go fast / sports car jones.

There's simply nothing like the wagon out there for stealth enjoyment of 469 HP. And it really does almost everything you can do on a public road WELL.

This thread made me think back to when I was a kid and the original AMG Hammer came out. I remember reading articles about the Hammer sedan, and then I saw an article featuring an evil black Hammer station wagon. WOW!! Talk about evil. I begged my mother to get rid of our minivan and get that car. Needless to say, she declined.

But I will never forget thinking that if all station wagons were AMGs, the world would be a better place, and station wagons would not get such a bad reputation with regards to coolness.
