Nexens are dangerous

Their off road tires do not have belts, last I checked.

I would go for the Nitto NT05's, if you want to spend the extra money id go for the Michellin Super Sports. They are actually cheaper then the PS2's and are supposed to last longer.

No offense but these guys must either be on crack or are sponsored by falken. I had the 452's on my C43 and they were pure GARBAGE! Felt like wooden clogs, sounded like a helicopter, tramlined like they were on rails, and had zero grip ESPECIALLY in the rain.

I know you wanted to hear from people that were putting down similar power to the 55K and 63's, which I am not, but My 43 motor was able to make the 452's spin off the line your 55k will melt them before you ever hook up...

Nah... the thing with these cheaper tires is sometimes you get one from a great batch and other times you get the rejects. Consistency is lacking. On one of my other cars that I don't care too much about, I bought 4 dirt cheapEST Sunny brand summer tires that had next to no reviews and it was the wisest consumer decision I ever made 12K miles ago. I bet some others weren't so lucky.

Gentlemen!

The bottom line is that Nexen tires blow big b donkey p___S.

With that said, I have Nexens up front and they're great, no complaints. In the rear tho, they just can't cut it. I dont care how good you alignment is the fact remains, my MILDLY modded car will break them loose in first or second gear NO PROBLEM.

The basic and sad truth of it all is, you get what you pay for. Simply put, compare the prices of some PS's to some Nexens and you get the idea. !!

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
452's are horrible tires, more than a few including myself had them just fall apart. Sumitoma III are OK, just do not last very long at all.
For the money I recommend V12s, T1Rs, or Extremes. All 3 are excellent all around performance tires.

I work at a tire shop and we only sell the Nexen's to the people who want "cheaper" tires. You can tell they're cheap just by feeling the rubber and looking at it -____-

Im not sure about the Sumo HTR's, or Yoko S since we don't sell those but I can recommend you the V12's. Best bang for your buck. They're not as good as PS2's or Conti Extremes but for the average driver they can save you lots of $$$.

I love my nexens for what they are. They're cheap decent tires for everyday driving. When it comes to perfomance vehicles it doesn't perform as well as other performance tires. I have them on my Z(roughly 370whp) and I'm losing traction at high rpms and I plan to get a different set next time.
