I need new brake rotors

I just ordered all of mine today - front rotors/pads, rear rotors/pads, sensors all around.
$577 + shipping.
And I had picked out the wrong rear pads and they corrected my order for me.
Very pleased.

Did the rear brake pads today since it was high 50s/low 60s. Perfect temps to be working on the car in the garage during the day. Rears had about 1/2 pad left on them and figured better to do now than later this summer when it hit 90s.
Had the laptop with a few posts on here up (exoticmetal 55). Disabled the SBC first and put the keys away on the shelf away from the car. Sure was easy to remove the 2pins for the calipers. Took out the old pads and make room for the new ones. Coated the backings w/brake quiet paste and let it sit for 10min, then installed them in. All in all took about 45min to do one side, running inside the house to get drinks/shop towels, back out, looking for tools that i misplaced. Other side took less time. Was going to use the old sensor, but went ahead and hooked up the new one i purchased.
Cleaned up the tools, everything else, plugged the SBC back in and took it for a spin. No squeaks and stops alot better than before. Next DIY will probably be spark plugs or replace seals in the washer tank. Lil leak in the damn thing.

Yes, as long as you don't access the inside of the car or use the keys, you are good to go. Pretend that you can't get into the car or find your keys. Once i was completely done, i did go into the car to open the hood and saw the dreaded BRAKE icon. Plugged the SBC back in and the icon went away. Warmed up the car and took it for a spin around the neighborhood and no icon:-)
