Noticed you are running 275-30-20 / 245-35-20....any issues installing and/or driving/rubbing as yet? I seem top recall someone saying they needed to cut the bolts or something....the recomm sizes I believe are 285-25 and 245-30?

Hmm, I ran 235/30/20 and 285/25/20. The wheels lasted me 9days before 1 cracked and 1 bent. I lived in Toronto for a while and would recommend looking at 19" wheels instead if your E63 is a daily on those roads. These roads are just as ****ty.

Dude, you are a mind reader...I live in Toronto...I'm talking to a few ppl about some Vossens and struggling between 20s and 19s....****ty streets and comfort factor....but then most are still recommending 20s and thats generally what you see on all blogs in most locations....and of course 20s look better....

With a nice drop 19s will look plenty big.. 19s are a great compromise of performance and looks.. I wouldnt go 20s on this ride, for the simple fact that there isnt much tire to protect the rim.

I really dont want to drop either....but i hear you on the protection....and dont want to oversize the tires either and mess with the rotation....

Believe me man, I'm ALL for 20's. It's just unrealistic on **** roads as a daily unless you wanna drive 15mph like you're on a minefield. I HATE going down in size, but gotta do it. The car is also really heavy for that diameter tires.
If you do go 19, stay away from lip cause that will make them look a tad smaller if you want the big look.

I've had some very slight rubbing when hitting bumps while turning but not enough to concern me on a street car.

Here's an updated pic I took today on my iphone. Installed a Carlsson style lip by myself in about 30 minutes time. It turned out looking nice.

Ha... yeah I was.

People on here keep saying I should black out the strips, but I kind of like how they match the chrome lip on the wheels? I was thinking of blacking out my headlight enclosures first but apparently I'd have to bake them since I have factory xenons.

IMO, that is the absolute PERFECT amount of drop!

Hate HATE when they are dropped more than that!

and I think the chrome in the trim goes nicely with the polished lips.

Looks good though I think a gloss black would have set it off just a little more.

I agree, but I liked the fact that I got these wheels + tires for over $3000 less than the wheels alone cost new.

They're three piece, so in the future I may refinish them. I was considering doing them in a super dark titanium metallic/almost black gloss powder coat but I liked the flat black enough I'm going to keep them for now.

I guess they do go with the chrome trim, I just think sometimes, you can have too much chrome... But It does play well with a black car, mine is tectite so It doesnt look good with tons of chrome imo.
