E55 Dropped on 20" GFG Medellin
Hey guys, I figure it's my turn to post up a "new shoes thread". I recently picked up some 20" GFG Medellin wheels in flat back for a STEAL from a guy that was wanting to sell fast.
I added some AMG center caps and put the wheels on the car last night. The car is dropped, and there's really very little room, but I'm pretty sure I'm not rubbing.
Let me know what you think of the wheels/stance! Thanks!

Thats a pretty good looking wheel... how much do they weigh? I heard GFG's are on the heavier side.

Perfect stance... Looking good. How are you dropped?
The next step for me, would be to black out the chrome trim moldings..

Keep them clean or you will regret it. They get dirt stuck in between the face of the rim and the outer ring. I have a set of asanti 2 piece and have to clean them ever day. Invest in a Polishing ball and clean them DAILY!!!

Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with them. I was considering raising the rear about 1/4-1/2" to get some extra clearance but I'm not sure if it's needed just yet.
I also took the time while the wheels were off to touch up the calipers with some paint. I found a color at Advance auto that matched the caliper color almost perfectly. You can't even tell they're touched up unless you're real close.
I thought about blacking out the moldings but I kind of like how they match the polished lip of the wheels. My next mod was planned to be the normal CF lip and possibly a diffuser, followed by a powder coat of the calipers when I replace my rotors.

Thanks. I've seen those ball things but never actually used one, but I know what you mean because my Z has two piece wheels. I'll have to look into that.

Yeah, as soon as I get my CF lip put on I'll do a photo shoot with a pro photographer friend that owes me. I'm considering blacking out the headlights as well.
