Should I Worry About Audi's Trying to Race Me?

An RS6 with a Stage 1 chip like mine does a 12.8 in the quarter and a low 4 second 0-60...
I'm sure one would give you some real good 'entertainment' ....kinda the same numbers...525bhp/500lbs torque with chip, about 4200 lbs.
Don't mess with them in the rain tho...they stick like glue.
I sure would sell both of my Audis though if I could find a E55 or E63 wagon.

One thing I know for sure though,
there is always one faster so its always a crap shoot.
I have been beat in the cobra & benz before and all I can do is give kudo's to the few who pull me and enjoy the majority of which I can pull.
Plus like the epost above says about audis "Don't mess with them in the rain tho...they stick like glue" its a fact !!

had an 2003 RS6 and it was LOVE - should have never sold it! although i never did get the AWE tune that would have put it at 532 HP 532 TQ i wish i did.

The RS6 isn't w/o its major problems tho as you know...torque converters and the suspensions that fail alot. But they check all the boxes otherwise. That a nice thing to say you like them considering your stable. Nice.
A stock E55 should beat a stock RS6 all day long from stoplight to stoplight....but 500 dollars of software allows for another level of performance to be had.
An AWE tune rocks with that torque ! That car def would need an upgraded TC sooner than later.

it is imposibble that a stock E55 will be faster than RS6 V10TT from stoplight to stoplight.
a tuned one was head to head with me untill 305km. and mine is heavily modded. well Jeremy tuned the RS6 and it got almost 100AWHP on a mustang.
don't underestmate these cars if they are tuned.

I walked RS6 2010 so easy with my car, at that time I had whatever in my signature now minus (OE tune, EvoSport wires, Cats were on). The Brabus pulley size is around 168 - 172 mm (not sure)

ok...so pre DBR set up, i had stage 2 Eurocharged tuned, 530/632...now I will be taking the DBR set up to E-town next month, but she puts out 650/780...and actually I had to use the Dahlback tune, as soon as I can Jerry up to my neck of the woods, then we think 700/800....and given the cosworth(thankfully before Audi sold Cosworth, they used their V8) internals, that is max HP before swapping rods/pistons and other internals.

With stage 2 Renntech mods I haven't found an Audi I couldn't pull on. Each time I tell myself that was the last time I was going to pull the trigger, but they keep asking for it and I just_cant_resist.

I miss my RS6,
Had the Revo chip in it but caused alot of problems like, blown turbos x 2 ,cause tranny to break to but all under warranty.
Probably should have done the MTM chip but its all in the past now.
Had to sell as it had no more warranty to give

The B5 S4 (twin turbo V6) now a days are getting rediculously fast and a "stage 3" S4 is like the dime a dozen everybody has it type of mod which is just a slightly larger oem turbo upgrade going from the K03 to the K04 and then there are variations of the K04 that can make slightly more power (RS6/K04 hybrid or the new Frankenturbos) being 2 examples.
The thing is they can vary quite a bit in performance from cars that trap in the 114 range up to 120mph range depending on the tuning and supporting mods with the basic "stage 3" upgrade.
Now there are more and more people running the GT turbos or the new Tial turbo kits though (605 and 770, mostly the 605) with all of them (with upgraded rods) making over 500whp with the 605 kit and all of the 770 cars at 600 but there are only a few of them out there so far (these numbers are on pump and meth injection) with the best one at 700whp on race gas and lots of meth injection at 40psi of boost.

My friend just ran a 11.3@123 in his stage 3 S4 I have the time slip in my car because I raced him at the track.
S4s can be made very fast,this one is custom tuned using winols and tunerpro.He never even got to re run it with a little more agressive tune because they threatened to ban him for life if he pulled anything faster than a 11.5 so he gave up after 1 run.
I think he trapped 98 in the 1/8th also

There are a few guys that have been able to run that low of an ET with Stage 3 and have actually trapped that or higher but it is very rare. Was that time with open downpipes and on race gas and then probably running the turbos ragged at like 25psi?
