Just to clarify, at this point, Route66 already gave you the go signal to go ahead with the repairs and they will cover everything?

And will they also cover the labor rate of the dealership 100%? I know a common problem with 3rd party insurance providers is that apart from denying claims is that they don't match dealership labor rates 100%.
Very interesting discussion. I also read that Route 66 does not cover the sales tax.

Yes, the approved $1400+ worth or repairs. I am getting them done by an independent place due to my dealership trying to rip me off! Not very happy about that. I haven't finished the process, but it seems as if they're going to cover 100% of labor and 100% OEM parts.

They do not cover the sales tax on the parts, from what I understand. I will let you guys know more once it's all said and done.

This thread is a tad old,but wondered how the repairs went. Also route 66 just told me they don't do E55 AMG's, I responded with their exception and included list which actually does include the C and E series.

I will be going through PenFed as well

Bump. Cancelled my Easycare warranty that charged me $5k for 48k miles. They denied the fuel sending unit repair, but did cover sidewall damage to rear tire ($352) and valve cover gasket leak $120 after my $500 deductible. Ended up getting back $4378 from Easycare. Planning on getting the Rt66 Warranty for the E55 for $1895 for the Easy Street.

Did you ever get the route 66 warranty plan? Did they fix your fuel sender unit?
