for those of you waiting for numbers, there's no need...these headers have been tried and tested on the fastest 55's out there with dyno and track results posted around here to prove it.

as far as sound, these run as quiet as stock until wot and then only sounding aggressive. if you want loud you'll have to find another muffler as the e's are the most restrictive of all the amg's.

He didn't they came uncoated for the fabrication process. You will need to coat them (Took me 10 mins) or leave them raw.

I was under the impression the entire system came coated thats what i paid an extra 1000 for.

Its starting to look the full sytem set is not totally full system. lots of extra cutting drilling coating. the way it was explained to me was you got the entire system from headers to the back of the mufflers. making 2 cuts and putting slipons on.

All you have to do is make 2 cuts and you can use slip fit clamps if you want so you dont have to weld. The 2 rear pipes that are straight did not come coated, Should they have? I think so. I see why he didnt though because you have to set the 02 bungs in place and weld those in that would destroy the coating. But it is what it is and you can get ceramic coating for $8 at auto zone. They dont have to match because they will never be seen.

The pictures that were posted were of the exhaust installed on a car. If you have an issue with it please email CNCPROTOOLS@YAHOO.COM Iam in no ofiliation with the company just was the one who setup the G/B and did the leg work. To be honest with you man Its not bad, trust me. And no it did not come with the slip fit style clamps. The kit comes with 2 bolt flanges.

Can't wait for mine! Evolved8 our cars will have (basically) an identical set up, which is cool.

Question for you. Shoud I have a Jerry retune before the install or can I do it after? Wasn't sure as with the 180mm pulley I had to do the jerry tune before the install.

I'm having Chris install mine here locally so I think he'll know how to do it!

Appeciate the advice on the tune and for putting all of this together. I would not have moved on this if you didn't set it up for us.

So thank you VERY much for all you've done here, I imagine it was a lot of work.

Alex

i know chris has done some one off's with 1 7/8" primaries but unless he's changed the original design, his headers should come with 1 3/4" primaries.

how reliable is the high temperature RTV sealant? Also, did you use them between your copper gasket to the head?
