What do you consider modified?
There are a lot of records being thrown around like fastest stock car, Drag radial car, tune only etc. But recently I have been seeing cars that claim tune only or stock but have mods like, drag radials, Weight reduction mods and race gas tunes and don't mention them. I was just wondering what people thought about this.

Pretty simple in my book. Stock is what the car does in it's natural form so if it has a weakness like traction issues and you modify the wheels to help it out, it's not stock.
If you change something that is an option from the manufacture that wasn't added upon original purchase then I'd let that slide.
In the end it all just comes down to having fun and showing what the car is capable of doing, which isn't a bad thing!

If something was modified, it's modified.

The only thing I wouldn't consider a mod is a different set of tires that AREN'T drag radials. Like for example, you switched the oem conti tires for micheline PS2's or something.

Agree with all others, stock is stock. DR's and no interior is not something I would accept as a "stock" record. Actually, I really think all these "record categories" are pretty silly. There is fastest and then everybody else.

This whole topic is funny, I don't visit here as much as I use to but I haven't seen a thread about fastest stock anything in about 6 months. So my question is who's throwing it around or are you trying to stir the pot?
