HELP!! WTF WOULD YOU DO?
It's hard to believe........ I've had this AMG for 6years (I leased her twice) but she is due back in one month. The car has 45K miles on her and I would bet I've spent another 30K+ on mods. The buy-out is $27,000.
So the question is, would you:
1) Put it back to stock, sell off all the goodies and move on.
2) Buy her ($27,000 + tax + a new set of PS2s + purchase an extended warranty... if that is even possible).
All thoughts (except Vic's) are appreciated.

my thoughts are .... (I dont care if you dont want them- I can do what I want)
keep the damn thing... you wont get crap for the parts (well you will definitely get much much less than you paid) and the car has low miles so keep it and sell it fully modded (it will sell with those miles and mods) or enjoy it.

unless you have something else in mind I don't think you're going to find a better car for 27,000. Depending on what you're lease payments were and whether you want to transfer them to another car - that's a different story...

You won't be able to replace it for anything near its performance level and luxury for only $27K. Plus, you know its complete history. I'd say buy it and continue to enjoy it unless you've just become bored with it and want to move on. If the latter case, then definitely leave it intact with the mods and sell it. With the mods and low mileage, you can probably sell it for in excess of the $27K it would cost you to buy it. Seems like a win whichever way you decide to go.

I would never sell something as beautiful as the E-class, especially tastefully modded like yours. After spending so much money, and so much time, is it let go so easily? Hope not

I say if you really like the car, then keep it. You know the car and it's been good to you. Getting something else could put you into a lemon or something you might dislike or regret.
If you give it to the dealer and buy it back, you can get the extended warranty. The new one has an option to go for 135k miles now. Of just work a deal to try to get the extended warranty tossed in.
I regret selling many older cars in the past that I wish I still had.....

Keep it! Refinance the $27K over 6 years, get a low interest rate and drive it! You know every mod by heart and it's history. Sure you could be a used stock one for a bit less now but why take the chance.
My $.02.

Keep it!!! As everyone has said, you will be hard-pressed to find an equal car for that price in terms of performance. And as others have stated, you know the history of the car... I don't know what mods you have, but I doubt you would get much for them if you took them off and tried selling them...

I would sell the piece of crap and sell off your parts. How much you want for those wheels?
Obviously, only kidding. Those wheels would look really good on my car.
Keep it for all of the above reasons unless you are going to upgrade.
Did I mention those wheels would look great on my car?
Pm me if you are going to sell the wheels.

I think we need to take it slow with Albert. I heard he has been in therapy ever since his 1/4 mile record was broken. I know his fingers still shake, so posting anything that is readable is a big step for him.

I've been in a similar situation ... if you have the cash, keep the car and push for extended warranty.
What other options do u really have? There is ntg to compare at mom at that price point in terms of luxury and perfromance.
If I sold my car I would not have enough for a golf... how fkd up is that!?!?

My take in this is to keep it, as you know the complete history of the car, and waht mods have been done to it. You would be a fool to get rid of it, at this point.
