So no comments after the alignment readings posted, but no big deal. Talked to the guy who did the alignment who now works at Borelli Motorsports in San Jose. Thought I would mention that because they gave me 30minutes of their time for free looking things over.

The tire wear was measured across the tire and was perfectly even, except for the odd inside edge wear. He showed me a set of the same tires he had pulled off a vette 2 days ago and, surprise! Same exact wear pattern. At this point he feels it is the tire and the way it rolls in turns and where the steel belts end. A race buddy of mine brought up the same possibility.

Anyway, I have a new set of Hankook V12 in the garage. I have to say this forum put me onto Hankook and I have to say thanks. Would have never considered them otherwise. The track R-s3 tires I have are crazy sticky. Looking for good performance from the V12s.

Cheers,
Jon

I would agree and say it's most likely caused from a camber issue and may also be a result of under inflation.

Under inflation at 44psi, nope. Tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetrics

Haters crazy
This may not effect you, but I remember reading somewhere that the suspension setting Sport2 can play a greater role in faster tire wear...

I went from 35 to 40 psi in the fronts and problem solved, simple as that. In the rear I had to play around with it over a couple sets of tires, but I believe 35 psi is where I have those set to keep the inside from wearing. Seeing even wear across all 4 now, though the rears are worn out(no surprise there) and getting changed in about half an hour.
