OMG! E55 for $10K?

There is a guy locally selling his 03 E55 for $10K! It has 105K miles which is pretty high....but $10K

Why are these people ruining the market?

if it's too good to be true, it probably is. I'd bet money there's something wrong with it or its been in a wreck.

It's easy to see if it's been in a wreck that caused significant damage ( nearly all cars have been in some kind of wreck, but finding out if it was a total loss is pretty easy if you know what to look for ).

I sent the guy an email...heck I may just buy it for the heck of it. He even said $10K or best offer....lol.

does he want you to wire the funds and he will deliver the car to you via a first class shipper? LOL!!!!

agreed if its too good to be true something has to be wrong. hell buy it for 10K and drive it like you stole it for a year and if it breaks write it off or sell it for parts.

Even if it is salvaged (most likely) there has got to be thousands in parts you could sell or use.. If you got the money to burn, go for it..

When I was looking to buy my motorcycle I ran across an ad that was to good to be true. Same thing no phone number only email, to make a long story short, I emailed the guy and he tells me he is in the military and is stationed in germany, If I sent him half the money he would ship the motorcycle, which he had a hook up on for shipping that would cost me nothing (naturally!) and once I get it I could send the other half. I basically told him he could go himself.

Well....check it out:

This is my number: +447031854591.The vehicle is in perfect condition, has no technical damage at all, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. You will not have to pay additional taxes for this car.I have worked in PR for the last year and I've purchased the car there. My company wanted me back home, so currently I'm in England (UK). I've brought the car home with me and it's now located in England.
I'm trying to sell it at this price because I don `t use it anymore (the steering wheel is on left side and it' very difficult for me to drive it), it `s a pity to keep such a car and not to use it.
I tried to sell the car in UK, but nobody want`s to buy a left side steering wheel car.
We can have a deal if you are really interested to buy it.
The price is correct and it's not negotiable and it also includes the transport.
Please write me back to discuss only if you are interested because I am tired of people that ask questions and are not interested at all.
Regards
Seems legit huh? LOL

You should email him back telling him that this is actually perfect for you because you are moving back to england and you don't mind the left hand drive situation and you want to buy it but wanna see it in person first. Just curious to see what he is going to say.

If it was honestly in England for sale for 10k I would buy it today! I'm thinking about picking one up for when I'm back in England as a DD! For $10k that's like £6.5k which is less than an e350 or whatever haha

Seriously, tell him you're in the UK on business and will drop by to see it, then Brabus786 can go. He won't bite.

I had the same thing happen on a John Deere tractor (seriously). Too good to be true. He was in Florida, but could ship it at that price to Iowa.

Yeah, sure, full size tractor. No problem

Tell him that in order to make sure he's a legit seller, you would like to fly to the UK to check out the car. Then request that he sends you a $500 deposit through Western Union to cover half the traveling costs.... could be the easiest $500 bucks you ever make
