i love the 98 to install the program, yet he bought the loader

and $80/hour to build a sub box "insane"

Without the stripes, it looks good. However, a fool and his money are soon parted..... wow.

Nah I see the vendor coming on here soon with an excuse as I have seen in the past. No offense to Dyno-Comp, but the whole pay for what you get thing has been played out for too long!

This car belonged to PGA golfer Bubba Watson at this time it was done. Please note, the whole car was repainted. It was not a case of just adding stripes. Also The car has every RENNtech mod that was currently available at that time. Factor in all the mods, Cost of painting the whole car and adding stripes. The price gets up there quick. Remember there is nothing Dyno-Comp can do when it comes to the pricing of 3rd party parts. Bubba came in and wanted what he wanted. We didn't talk him into anything. His mind was made up. Fact is, Its common place at Dyno-Comp for a customer to drop off their car and want everything done to it. I dump a tuck load of money into my car. In fact my C55 build when it was all said and done was $22k from when I stated modding to the end. My SL55 build is also getting up there. In comparison to World Series MVP's, movie stars, and the owner of Go Daddy. My bill is pocket change to a 599GTB or Zonda builds those guys have done...
Dyno-Comp caters to everyone and all budgets. Its just a matter of how far you want to go.

This car was sold from Schumacher Mercedes in Scottsdale. Note the email in the item list @drivethebest.com = Schumacher Mercedes. Dyno-Comp get a lot of AMG's that come strait from the dealer. Weather the customer is rolling modifications into financing or taking delivery when the car is finished. Dyno-Comp works with a bunch of local dealers Like Subaru, Porsche, Mercedes, and others in the area.
My guess is this invoice traveled with the car. Based on the fact that its a colored invoice, you would have had to go to Dyno-Comp and get it or its the original that traveled with the car.
This car was then sold back to Schumacher Mercedes and from there its travels are unknown to me.

I've got no beef with this thread. If the seller of this car wants to prove what was done to it, for a selling point. It is what it is. But to think that "I" or Dyno-Comp ripped someone off is a bit out of line. Again DC dosent set the sale price of 3rd party performance parts. In the end Dyno-Comp did exactly what the customer wanted, Dyno-Comp delivered, and the customer was happy.
Like the strips or not, We are not in the business of telling a customer what they want sucks. Just because we have slightly different taste. Personally I wouldn't have done it, but I don't think its looks bad. Lets be honest, the guy wanted stripes and when it's his car... He can do what he wants.
You should contact the manufacture of the performance parts on this car to inquire about pricing. But please don't call "dyno-comp" a ripoff. They do top notch work and building some of the fastest Mercedes around.

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
for the record, I don't care either way how much was paid for any of the parts - nor have I made a comment about dyno-comp being a ripoff. I was shocked, yes, when I saw the prices - but renntech & shyt is expensive. I like DC & they do killer work... but I do think a lot of these items on this B.S. could be had for much cheaper, depending on who you know - though thats not my argument to make. i never slammed the car design either, as that is personal choice.
Hooley, are you familiar with the sickkkk G55 in the pewter matte color with headers & the metal belt trim (instead of standard black) & no spare tire.... pics attached. $12,500 spent at D.C.
